“I am stepping up to this position because I have been exactly where current students and recent graduates are, navigating that phase just about a year ago myself. I understand the overwhelming feeling of asking, ‘How do I break into the profession?’ ‘Who are the key people I should be having meaningful conversations with to gain insights?’ and ‘What should I actually be doing?’ I attended a forum with Ticket to Biotech just a month after college graduation that made such a meaningful impact and truly helped guide where I am today, and I want to give those same resources and tools to motivated students ready to kick-start their journeys in life!”

“When first connecting with senior communications and investor relations leaders, I start the conversation asking them to share their career path. Their answers are a reminder that very few careers follow a straight line and that there are many ways to grow into leadership in this field. The transition from being a student into a corporate environment can be significant, and having access to real industry perspective early on can make that path more intentional. Supporting this roundtable is about helping the next generation better understand the opportunities within life sciences communications and helping them to shape their own journey.”
