Meet Our Speaker:
Sarah MacDonald is the CEO of Life Science Cares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating the impact of poverty by leveraging the financial resources of life science companies in five locations: Boston, Philadelphia, San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area and New York. Prior to joining Life Science Cares, Sarah served as Executive Vice President at MassBio, the life science industry trade association, where she led policy, communications, events, and strategy of the 1,000+ member company organization.
Before MassBio, Sarah held several association and policy positions, including Interim Executive Director of the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association and as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Department of Business Development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Sarah is a graduate of Hartwick College and has a Master’s degree from Northeastern University.
