The T2B Culture Connect Roundtable brings biopharma communicators together to engage and excite one of their company’s most important audiences: Employees! This roundtable serves as a space for professionals across corporate, internal, agency, and consulting roles to exchange ideas and navigate the strategies and sometimes complex dynamics of employee engagement.

Roundtable objectives

  • Create a dedicated forum for biopharma communicators to focus “inward,” examining how to drive deeper connections with both current and prospective employees.
  • Explore the full scope of employee engagement, including culture, trust, and internal communication.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing around key employee engagement topics such as building psychological safety, aligning leadership and employee priorities, and responding to socio-political dynamics.
  • Empower biopharma communicators to more effectively partner with leaders and cross-functional colleagues to shape an engaged and committed workforce.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A passion for employee engagement.
  • The ability to volunteer 3-5 hours/month to co-create quarterly Culture Connect events and monthly resources for the broader T2B community.
  • The drive to participate in quarterly roundtable team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback.
  • An active T2B Pro membership.

About the chair

Meredith Kiernan, Senior Director, Global Corporate Communications, Mirum Pharmaceuticals

Meredith Kiernan serves as Senior Director, Global Corporate Communications at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, where she leads corporate reputation, executive visibility, external/media relations, internal communications and employee engagement, and digital/social. An integrated life sciences communicator, she builds brand and culture programs that move business forward—helping organizations navigate growth, change, and regulatory complexity while earning trust with internal and external stakeholders. Prior to Mirum, Meredith spent 12 years at Real Chemistry and Waterhouse advising companies across the biotech and medtech landscape, including BioMarin, Twist Bioscience, Exelixis, Vaxcyte, Nurix, and Intuitive Surgical. As employee #2 at Waterhouse, she helped shape and scale the firm’s differentiated, holistic approach to brand, culture, and communications.
