The Power We Still Have as Communicators
It’s easy to look at the environment we’re operating in—the declining trust in life sciences, the growing skepticism toward institutions—and feel like our hands are tied.
When the landscape feels uncertain, a lot of companies default to playing it safe. They hesitate to engage, to lead, to stick their necks out. But as communicators, our job doesn’t disappear when the environment gets tough. It becomes even more important.
We’re still responsible for building trust with our stakeholders. For listening. For showing up consistently. For helping people understand and connect with the work our companies are doing—even when the outside noise gets louder.
We have more power than it sometimes feels like we do. And we’re not doing it alone. That’s why spaces like T2B matter—so we can lean on each other, share what’s working, and keep finding ways forward together.
How are you choosing to show up when trust feels fragile?
