Cynthia joined Third Rock Ventures in 2015 as Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations. In this role, she leads the firm’s external and internal communications strategy and initiatives. She also works closely with the firm’s portfolio of companies to guide them on their communications and investor relations best practices. Prior to joining Third Rock, Cynthia served as Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals for 10 years. Before that, Cynthia was Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Synta Pharmaceuticals. She joined Synta after four years in roles of increasing responsibility at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, where she worked as part of the team driving the company’s communications and investor relations efforts. Cynthia began her career in Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Curis. She earned her B.A. with honors in Communications from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
